There are many ways  would organize my job search time and follow up to get results.  For Example, I would schedule a specific day or days where I can give my undivided attention toward the matter.  Also, I can search on the internet to subscribe myself to upcoming events where I can introduce my network and multimedia establishments. Or go online and sign-up to free job searching website, such as; monster.com and indeed.com. Walk around the area closest or farthest from you to find out whose hiring at there business' location. go and visit my career advisor at school to become knowledgeable on any job leads that is close to what I am looking for. Talk to goal-oriented people around you because they may have some information on job leads or looking for someone to collaborate with them.  I will either call, email or fax employers for follow ups to get results.

Week 4 EOC: Deeper Meaning of "Devil Wears Prada" Film

In New York, the simple and naive just-graduated in journalism Andrea Sachs is hired to work as the second assistant of the powerful and sophisticated Miranda Priestly, the ruthless and merciless executive of the Runway fashion magazine. Andrea dreams to become a journalist and faces the opportunity as a temporary professional challenge. The first assistant Emily advises Andrea about the behavior and preferences of their cruel boss, and the stylist Nigel helps Andrea to dress more adequately for the environment. Andrea changes her attitude and behavior, affecting her private life and the relationship with her boyfriend Nate, her family and friends. In the end, Andrea learns that life is made of choices.

Not only does the film reveal the challenges of obtaining job opportunities for women in a career, but establishes some of the do's and don'ts when you are set and present for a job interview.  For example, Don't come to an interview in casual attire similar to what Andrea was wearing in the film. Do your research on the company you have applied beforehand so you can understand the company and develop proper questions. Arrive 10 minutes early prior to the interview start time or earlier if the event or employer instructs you to do so. Treat other people you encounter with courtesy and respect. Their opinions of you might be solicited during hiring decisions. Maintain good eye contact during the interview. Be honest and be yourself — your best professional self.  Dishonesty gets discovered and is grounds for withdrawing job offers and for firing. You want a good match between yourself and your employer. If you get hired by acting like someone other than yourself, you and your employer will both be unhappy.
